Campaign workflow is in the wrong order

The separation in multiple steps when sending a campaign is OK, but I think the "design email" and "details" steps need to be switched.
When you start a campaign, you give it a name. In my case it's often the same as the subject line and I copy it from a blog post. The current workflow requires me to type or copy-n-paste it a second time. If you switch the order, you could simply paste the text a second time and be done. Seems minor, but it becomes annoying when you send a lot of emails.

Put the Campaign Naming back in the beginning

The new process of creating email campaigns makes it harded to label and identify drafts.

Hiya mswan User, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- How often do you find yourself needing to save drafts before naming them?
- Would having the option to name the campaign at the start and end of the editing process be beneficial?
- Are there any other parts of the campaign creation process that you find disrupt your workflow?

Complicating the sending process

We noticed there was an update a few weeks ago where the campaign sending pages changed. Now, the last page you see (Send or schedule) doesn't include who the campaign is sending to, which we find absolutely absurd. Surely you want to be able to double check the audience on that last page without having to switch back to another page again

Changes in campaign workflow not thought through

I'm not convinced about the changes to the campaign workflow. You have to go forth and back to configure all the steps. Now it sends you first to design the email and then to the 'Schedule' tab.

I'm confused why decisions are made to make processes harder. As of today nothing has been fixed. My information was still erased when I edited the content and when I send a test email, the received subject line simply says "Test". Why even make these changes in the first place - it would be very beneficial to receive updates and reasons behind the changes.

Hi everyone, thanks for your patience and for all the detailed feedback.
We’ve reviewed the issues with the new campaign flow, and here’s what we’ve already addressed or are currently implementing:
1) Opening a campaign now takes you to the Details step instead of jumping straight to Schedule.
2) A recap of the email will once again be visible on the Schedule page, so you can quickly review key information before sending
3) You’ll be able to rename your campaign again in the details page.
4) We’re introducing auto-save on the Details page to prevent accidental loss of changes.
We know the recent changes disrupted your workflow, especially for those who duplicate previous campaigns, and we’re working to make the flow intuitive again.

Madina Umirbek you replied and asked:
Can you describe the specific steps you take when trying to update the subject line and preview line?
--> It used to go to details first so I could update the campaign name, subject line and preview line - I REALLLLY Miss this, now I have to remember to go back to the list of campaigns and rename it
Have you noticed any patterns or specific conditions under which the updates fail to save?
--> I haven't, it's random. I update the subject line and preview line and then have to send, sometimes multiple, tests. This is annoyoing since we don't get a last chance to view it anymore before sending. Sometimes it saves sometimes the update doesn't save.
Is there a particular browser or device you are using when experiencing these issues?
--> I'm on a PC an usually use Firefox

Trouble updating email name, subject line, and preview line after last update

After a recent update in MailerLite email editing, it has become much harder to update and save the subject line and preview line.
I use my template weekly, copy it and then update and content. Updating the name of the email campaign used to be a lot easier and when I update the subject line and preview line it rarely saves the first time and sometimes not the second.
The old way of making these changes was much more reliable, any chance that can be restored?
