Approval Workflow for Newsletters

- When a Newsletter is ready to send, who should get notified... by default I would think Administrator or Manager. But, under Custom User... under the custom permissions where you are able to select campaigns users are able to see or use --- use a similar setup and have a section called approvers... where if you don't give them unfettered sending access... it will default to send approval to Adminstrators, or checkbox to included managers, or even better SELECT users to approve and then we choose manager or higher level users to approve.
- If it is not approved, Sending should be blocked until someone signs off.
- Approval step will be before scheduling/sending. The approval would release the email to be scheduled or to send.

Hey shannon. kaechler User, thanks for sharing this — really helpful. Quick couple questions so we can understand the workflow you’re looking for: when a newsletter is “ready to send,” who should get notified, and who should have the ability to give the final approval? If it’s not approved, should sending be fully blocked until someone signs off, or can it still go out anyway? And where should that approval step live in your process (after the draft is done, after a test send, or right before scheduling/sending)?
